On the morning of March 14, at the Headquarters of Area 3 - Phu Loi Defense Command, Can Tho City Military Command, Voting area No. 26 in Phu Loi ward organized the opening ceremony of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
Voting area No. 26 has 309 voters who are officers and soldiers from units directly under the Can Tho City Military Command, including: Can Tho City Border Guard Command; Phu Loi Area 3 Defense Command; Campaign Intelligence Cluster 3; Soc Trang Military-Civilian Hospital; Reconnaissance - Mechanical Company 3 and Information Platoon. These units are all performing combat readiness duty, protecting national sovereignty and border security and maintaining security and order in the area.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Election Team disseminated the rules and regulations of the voting room, along with the principles and procedures for elections. With a high sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers of units successively registered, received ballots and exercised their voting rights in accordance with regulations.

According to Colonel Pham Le Xuan Binh - Deputy Commander of the Military Command of Can Tho City, concurrently Commander of the Border Guard Command of the City - the organization of early elections for armed forces units is of great significance. This activity both ensures that all officers and soldiers fully exercise their rights and civic obligations, and helps units maintain strict combat readiness duty, proactively handle all situations, and ensure absolute safety for election day 15.

On the same day, officers and soldiers of Trung Binh Border Guard Station and Border Guard Flotilla 2 (Can Tho City Border Guard) participated in early voting at Voting Area No. 9, Ngan Ro 1 hamlet, Tran De commune with the Police force and the Military Command of the commune.
Major Nguyen Minh Thanh - Commander of Trung Binh Border Guard Station - said: "Being able to participate in early voting in the locality where the unit is stationed is the honor and responsibility of each officer and soldier. After completing the rights and obligations of citizens, we quickly returned to the unit to continue performing the duty of combat readiness, contributing to ensuring security and safety for election day March 15th.

Corporal Chau Hoang Men - a soldier working at Border Guard Flotilla 2 - shared: "The first time participating in the election as a soldier in the Border Guard force, I feel very proud. After voting, we returned to the unit to continue performing patrol and combat readiness duties, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area during the great festival of the country.
