On March 13, a working delegation led by Ms. Pham Thi Phuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Secretary of the Can Tho City Election Committee - headed the delegation, came to inspect some polling stations in the city.
Also participating was Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, Member of Election Commission No. 6 (Can Tho City).

The working delegation directly surveyed the current status of facilities and conditions serving election work in Long Phu, Tan Thanh and Lich Hoi Thuong communes. At the same time, inspected the voter listing area, polling area, ballot boxes, ballot writing locations and conditions to ensure security and order, and environmental sanitation.
Through inspection, most polling stations basically meet the organization requirements; fully prepare equipment, arrange reasonable space, and create favorable conditions for voters to exercise their rights and citizens' obligations.

On that basis, the working delegation noted that localities should continue to review facilities, grasp the number of voters, strengthen propaganda, and mobilize people to participate in the election fully. In particular, each unit needs to proactively develop plans to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, traffic safety and other necessary conditions for the election day to take place smoothly and in accordance with regulations.
