Preparing for the regular session in mid-2025, the 16th term of the City People's Council, term 2021-2026, Mr. Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, and members of the People's Council Delegation No. 1 met with voters in the wards: Thuy Nguyen, Nam Trieu, Bach Dang, Hoa Binh, Luu Kiem, Le Ich Moc, Thien Huong and Viet Khe commune.
At the meeting, delegates of the City People's Council informed voters about the results of socio-economic development, ensuring the city's national defense and security in the first 6 months of 2025 and the contents expected to be considered and approved at the 29th session of the City People's Council; listen to the report on the results of responding to voters' opinions of the locality.
Voters in 8 wards and communes reflected and recommended a number of issues such as the city's attention and allocation of funds to invest, repair and upgrade the loudspeaker system so that localities can effectively carry out information and propaganda work; soon operate the lighting system on National Highway 10 to ensure convenient and safe travel for people; speed up progress, and soon complete the construction of traffic routes in the model new rural construction program. At the same time, there are solutions to overcome the shortage of teachers in some subjects, invest in facilities to meet the needs of educational development under the new program...
On behalf of the People's Council No. 1 Delegation, Mr. Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, expressed his respect for the feelings and trust of voters in wards and communes; at the same time, he received, acknowledged and evaluated 20 opinions of voters expressing a high sense of responsibility, regularly caring, and being close to the locality and grassroots. The opinions and recommendations of voters in this meeting will be received, compiled, and submitted to the City People's Council and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution at the next session.
