On the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025), Mr. Le Anh Quan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to Mr. Pham Thanh Van - a resistance fighter captured by the enemy, currently residing in Van Tra residential group, An Hai ward.
Mr. Pham Thanh Van was born in 1945, and was captured by the enemy at Phu Quoc prison during the resistance war against the US. After completing his revolutionary mission, he worked at Hai Phong Radio Station and retired in 1990. Currently, he lives with his wife on a farm in the locality. His son is currently a worker at Dai Duong Company, and his daughter-in-law works in Trang Due Industrial Park. Mr. Pham Thanh Van's family always strictly complies with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, and has been recognized as a typical cultural family for many consecutive years.
On behalf of the city's leaders, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan respectfully visited the health and life of Mr. Pham Thanh Van; expressed his deep gratitude for his contributions and sacrifices in the cause of national liberation. The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes that he and his family will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be shining examples in the community, and contribute to building an increasingly civilized and developed homeland.
