On May 13, Duc Lap Commune Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just supported Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Lan (46 years old, residing in the locality) to receive back 66 million VND due to mistaken account transfers during bank transactions.
Previously, Ms. Lan reported to the police agency that during the transaction, she had negligently transferred 66 million VND to a strange account and wanted to be supported in verifying to get back the above amount.
Immediately after receiving the information, the leaders of Duc Lap Commune Police directed officers and soldiers to coordinate with the bank and related units to urgently verify and trace the information of the account holder receiving money.
Through professional measures, functional forces identified the account holder who received the money as Ms. T.T. T.H, residing in Hoa Binh ward, Phu Tho province.
After being contacted by Duc Lap Commune Police, informed of the incident and verified the information, Ms. H enthusiastically coordinated and proactively carried out procedures to return the entire amount of 66 million VND to Ms. Lan.
Receiving the mistakenly transferred money back, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Lan expressed her emotion and joy and sent thanks to the collective of officers and soldiers of Duc Lap Commune Police and Ms. T.T. T.H for their dedicated support, helping her family quickly receive back the property.
