At the 25th Session - the regular session in mid-2025, the People's Council of Binh Dinh province for the 2021 - 2026 term, Ms. Le Binh Thanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Binh Dinh province reported on the work of the Front participating in building the government in the first 6 months of 2025; reflecting the recommendations of voters and people at the session.
In the first 6 months of the year, the ideological situation of the people in the province has been basically stable, people are interested in following the political, economic and social events of the country and the province. In particular, voters pay great attention to the implementation of the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the two provinces of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai; the arrangement and establishment of new commune-level administrative units.
Voters and people are also concerned and worried about the complicated developments in the world and the region, which are having adverse impacts on the country and the province's economy; the situation of counterfeit, counterfeit, and poor quality goods; food safety and hygiene; drug abuse, gambling, causing negative consequences for society...
Voters hope that the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee and competent authorities will promptly handle and overcome existing problems, especially in the process of arranging and merging administrative units; have appropriate orientations and decisions, and direct the effective implementation of economic development solutions.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province said that in the first 6 months of 2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has implemented many activities to participate in building the government. The whole province has established 80 teams to supervise the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; received and processed 48 complaints and denunciations from citizens and coordinated to resolve a number of long-term cases, contributing to protecting the rights and interests of the people.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels coordinated to organize 1,239 meeting points between National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels with more than 62,762 participants, synthesizing and reflecting more than 15 groups of issues of concern and recommendation to voters and people.
Proactively coordinate the organization of 24 dialogues between heads of Party committees, authorities and people on contents related to socio-economic development, the organization of the political system, the merger of the two provinces of Binh Dinh - Gia Lai and the arrangement of new communes...
Reflecting at the meeting, Ms. Le Binh Thanh emphasized that voters agreed with the policy of merging, arranging, and streamlining the apparatus. However, in implementation, it is recommended that the People's Council, People's Committee of the province and authorities at all levels select cadres with qualifications, capacity, ethics, and understanding of the local situation, meeting the requirements of the task.
Ensure that after the arrangement, the apparatus is more efficient; have reasonable policies, ensure the rights of cadres, civil servants, public employees and part-time workers who quit their jobs due to staff streamlining and mergers.
Voters and people also expressed concern about the production, purchase, sale, and consumption of counterfeit goods and goods of unknown origin, especially essential necessities such as milk, medicine, functional foods, etc., seriously affecting the health and rights of consumers.
Therefore, voters suggested that the province direct the authorities to strengthen inspection and examination of the quality of products and goods circulating in the area; strictly handle violations as well as irresponsible and lax management.
