On October 11, Tan Hung ward held the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and socio-political organizations of Tan Hung ward, term 2025 - 2030.
The congress was attended by Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung - Former member of the Party Central Committee, Former President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and more than 200 delegates representing all classes of people, ethnic groups, religions, businesses, intellectuals, artists and workers in the area.
The Political Report submitted to the Congress affirmed that in the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have promoted their core role in consolidating the great national unity bloc, effectively implementing emulation movements and major campaigns such as: All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas... Many models and ways to create clear changes in the community such as: Turning landfills into flower gardens, non-garbage apartments, security and order surveillance cameras...
In particular, Tan Hung ward is a pioneer in digital transformation at the grassroots level, operating a multilingual virtual assistant chatbot (Vietnamese - English - Korean), building a Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in 5 languages in 21 neighborhoods, effectively promoting digital maps of community monitoring and two-way interaction channels with people.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized the need to strongly apply technology and take the people as the center to improve the quality of the Front's activities in the new administrative unit model.
The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City proposed 6 key groups of issues that the Ward Front needs to focus on implementing in the 2025 - 2030 term. Mr. Tuan stated the role of a center of solidarity, regularly approaching the people, grasping the thoughts, feelings and aspirations of the people to promptly reflect and coordinate with the government to resolve, especially issues related to compensation and clearance projects.
Actively implementing campaigns and movements; promoting the role of social supervision and criticism; focusing on promoting democracy and self-management; building a team of core staff at the grassroots level.
In particular, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan emphasized promoting the application of digital transformation, mobilizing resources and volunteers for social security activities, and using digital platforms to manage people's opinions and recommendations and monitor the government's resolution. To do so, it is necessary to effectively implement the " digitization of the People" movement to popularize technology for the people.

The Congress discussed 5 members of the Standing Committee, including: Ms. Pham Thi Hanh Tu - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; Mr. Khau Thien Thanh - Permanent Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Ward Trade Union; Mr. Le Duc Dat - Vice Chairman, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the ward; Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Thuy - Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Ward Women's Union; Mr. Le Van Tai - Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Ward Veterans Association.
