Recently, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong just signed Decision No. 1111, on transferring mass associations assigned tasks by the Party and State at the provincial level to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Specifically, 10 Associations were transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, including: Cooperative Alliance, Journalists Association, Lawyers Association, Literature and Arts Association, Former Youth Volunteers Association, Union of Science and Technology Associations, Red Cross Society, Association for Promoting Education, Association for the Elderly and Bar Association.
Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to be responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to guide the transfer of associations and advise on resolving all issues arising related to the organizational structure and personnel throughout the implementation process.
The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to guide associations to hand over public finances and assets to ensure compliance with the law.
