At the same time, the movement also contributes to constantly improving the level, applying and applying advanced science and technology to the production and business process throughout the Group.
Based on the direction of the Party Committee and leaders of the Group, in recent years, the Group's Trade Union has organized emulation at many key projects and works, with focus, key points, clear targets and tasks according to project progress milestones and committed to implementation. Periodically, there are preliminary reviews, summaries, and evaluations of results and encouragement, motivation, reward, and motivation for workers. In addition, at projects with many difficulties, harsh working environments, and progress pressure, there is always a Trade Union organization accompanying, caring for, encouraging and organizing cultural and sports activities, encouraging spirit, creating cohesion, solidarity, strengthening cooperation, trust, and together aiming for the goal of resolutely bringing the project to the finish line, ensuring safety and quality.

Petrovietnam Trade Union has organized honoring and rewarding many collectives and individuals at the preliminary and final reviews; and at the same time coordinated to organize social security activities in the localities where the plant is being built. The organization of emulation at factory construction sites, typically like Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant - this is a project facing many difficulties - has now reached the finish line and gone into stable operation. This affirms the will and great determination of the Party Committee and leaders of the Group and the spirit of overcoming difficulties and excellence of the workers at the construction site.
Having gone through 50 years of the journey of those who seek fire, associated with the journey of oil and gas innovation, nearly 30 years since Petrovietnam Trade Union implemented the "Oil and Gas Innovation" emulation movement, to date, this movement has become a brand and traditional cultural feature of Petrovietnam workers. This has been demonstrated by many works, scientific awards, initiatives, solutions, models, good practices and creative ideas recognized and registered by the state over many years. From the results of creative emulation among workers, it has also contributed to spreading intellectual values, the spirit of love for the industry, love for the profession, love for work; workers always know how to strive to overcome difficulties, overcome challenges, and aim for the development of the Group and the unit. Through emulation movements, many excellent collectives and typical factors have been discovered and honored; many initiatives, technical improvements, and solutions have been applied in practice, bringing great value and benefits.
In the period 2022 - 2025, Petrovietnam Trade Union continues to organize oil and gas creative emulation in many innovative ways to mobilize and arouse the creative spirit of workers from the mindset - that is, having worked requires innovation and creativity in the way of doing things, especially adapting flexibly to new conditions, and at the same time, based on the success of the program "1 million initiatives to overcome difficulties and win the Covid-19 pandemic" before that, the Standing Committee of Petrovietnam Trade Union issued a Resolution and developed the organization of the "Oil and Gas Innovation" program for the 2024-2028 period. This is a new form, model, and way of doing things in the organization of emulation of the Group's Trade Union.
The "Oil and Gas Innovation" emulation program has had close companionship from the Group's leaders and leaders of member units. The program is set up with software on the Trade Union Website for employees to log in and register for initiative products, automatically evaluate results and rank. The program has attracted a large number of union members and employees to participate, with strong spillover effects. Creative products registered to contribute, not only bringing economic value, improving labor productivity but also proof of the attachment and aspiration to contribute of Petrovietnam employees. As a result, by the end of 2025, there were over 5,450 creative products bringing value and profit estimated at over 20,000 billion VND for the Group and units.

In the coming time, one of the tasks and solutions set out is that in addition to organizing activities to care for the workforce, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly innovate, adapt flexibly, and digitize the organization of patriotic emulation movements in the workforce, focusing on the emulation movement for innovation and creativity, emulation for creativity on key projects of the Group, and organizing creative emulation in all fields of the Group's operation. Both organizing emulation and organizing good activities to care for and encourage and create motivation for employees throughout the Group.

The Group's Trade Union will work with the Trade Unions in the Group to continue to discover, nurture, summarize, replicate, and spread more and more regularly advanced examples, outstanding typical individuals, and innovate the organization of emulation at all levels of trade unions, emulation must be linked to the specific conditions of the Group and each unit. Promptly discover typical factors, do a good job of surveying and appraising topics to guide collectives and individuals to register for creativity and propose rewards. Regularly review and evaluate shortcomings and limitations in the process of implementing the movement to promptly correct and draw experience.
Trade union levels coordinate well with peer-level professionals, pay attention to and promptly resolve the rights of authors with outstanding achievements in research and application of science and technology, and initiatives and solutions. At the same time, research, guide, and support procedures and dossiers for individuals to register. Develop annual emulation organization plans, report to receive guidance and support from the Party Committee and Group leaders, guide affiliated Trade Unions to seek instructions from the Party Committee and coordinate with unit leaders to unify implementation.
