On the morning of July 13, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Le Thi Rieng Park.

On the morning of July 13, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City offered incense and flowers to commemorate heroic martyrs and visited and encouraged forces performing tasks of searching, collecting and identifying martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park.

The delegation was headed by Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

The delegation offered incense at the stele commemorating late General Secretary Tran Phu and the stele commemorating Martyrs Le Thi Rieng, Martyr Tran Van Kieu and heroes and martyrs worshiped here.

After the incense offering ceremony, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to officers, soldiers and forces performing the task of searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park.

The ceremony took place in the context of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), implementing the "Operation 500 days and nights to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains". At the same time, it is also an opportunity for the Steering Committee for searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains at all levels to conduct searches and repatriate the remains of revolutionary cadres and soldiers who bravely sacrificed themselves in the 1968 Tet Offensive and Uprising.
