On the afternoon of July 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Command informed about the results of the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains in the Le Thi Rieng Park area. Accordingly, the search and exhumation progress today has made remarkable progress.
Accordingly, a report from the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team said that in just one day, July 11, the force discovered and repatriated an additional 20 sets of martyrs' remains and 1 set of collective martyrs' remains along with 7 sets of accompanying artifacts.
Thus, up to the present time, the total number found and exhumed at the scene has reached 49 sets of martyrs' remains and 01 set of collective martyrs' remains.
In the coming days, functional agencies propose to continue to expand the scope of the current tomb groove, and at the same time excavate more adjacent tomb grooves based on historical data comparison. The entire search process will be carried out carefully using the method of layer separation. This is to ensure the preservation of the current status of the area, creating the most favorable conditions for identification work in the future.
