On April 20, news from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that it had just issued a plan to supervise the implementation of policies to support people affected by prolonged rain and floods in the province in 2025.
According to the plan, the content of supervision focuses on leadership and direction; the issuance of documents and organization of implementation of support policies; the results of policy implementation for affected people in the period from November 15, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
In which, the focus is on correctly identifying beneficiaries; receiving and allocating relief money and goods; managing and using support funds from the budget as well as from organizations and individuals; and at the same time assessing the actual effectiveness.
Monitoring activities are implemented in two forms: direct and indirect through reports.
The supervisory delegation will work directly at the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committees of communes and wards including: Phan Rang, Do Vinh, Phuoc Hau, Phuoc Dinh, Tay Nha Trang, Dien Khanh, Tay Khanh Vinh, Nam Khanh Vinh, Ninh Hoa and Hoa Thang.
The remaining localities will be monitored through the unit's reports.
The supervisory delegation is chaired by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, with the participation of representatives of relevant departments and agencies. The supervision time is expected to take place from April 22 to May 8.
The organization of supervision aims to improve the effectiveness of implementing policies to support people affected by natural disasters; and at the same time strengthen the supervisory role of the Fatherland Front and member organizations.
Thereby contributing to consolidating people's trust in the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State.
Previously, due to the impact of the prolonged floods at the end of 2025, Khanh Hoa province suffered many losses.
As of April 8, the total amount received into the Provincial Relief Fund account reached more than 385.2 billion VND.
To date, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has allocated more than 347.7 billion VND to localities; the remaining funds are supplemented to the Relief Fund for use in natural disasters and incidents in the coming time.
