For the poor - No one is left behind
On the evening of November 3, the Hanoi People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi jointly organized the "For the Poor" and Social Security Program of Hanoi in 2025.
This is a practical activity in response to the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" in the period of 2021-2025 launched by the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the program, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Bui Huyen Mai affirmed that this is an opportunity for each agency, organization, and enterprise in the city and the people of the capital to give livelihoods, create a price to support social security, help the poor have a better life and opportunities to change their lives, contribute to the realization of goals, build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and sustainable poverty reduction of the city in the period of 2021 - 2025.
According to Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, responding to the Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's launch on the Program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, in 2024 and 2025, Hanoi City has focused on implementing, joining hands, and joining hands with neighboring provinces and localities to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity "Mutual love and support", in recent years, agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists have actively contributed and created resources to work with the city government to implement social security and poverty reduction policies.
Ms. Mai also praised, acknowledged, and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, sharing, and noble gestures of organizations, banks, businesses, collectives, and individuals who have supported the City Fund for the Poor and hoped that these noble gestures would be spread, helping Hanoi achieve its set goals.
Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Cau Giay Ward, Cau Giay Ward contributed 200 million VND to the fund for the poor of Hanoi City.

The city's "For the Poor" Fund receives more than VND93 billion
Promoting the tradition of solidarity and "mutual love", in the face of heavy losses in human lives and property caused by storms No. 10 (Bualoi) and No. 11 ( Matmo), implementing the direction of the Hanoi Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city has allocated VND145 billion from the City Relief Fund to send to the Relief Fund of 17 provinces and cities and supported more than VND10 billion to Hanoi communes, contributing promptly to supporting the recovery of consequences caused by floods, soon restoring production and stabilizing people's lives.
The City People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city respectfully commend, acknowledge and highly appreciate the spirit of responsibility, sharing, and noble gestures of agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists who have actively contributed to support the Fund for the Poor, created resources with the city government to sustainably reduce poverty, ensure social security, and improve social welfare.


Following the achievements of the peak month "For the poor" and social security in 2024, the program "Joining hands for the poor and social security in Hanoi in 2025" was organized to connect hearts and share love, continue to contribute, join hands so that the city has more resources to care for and support near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances with conditions to strive to rise up.
Up to this point, the City Fund for the Poor and Social Security has received support and registered to support more than VND93 billion from agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists.
On the occasion of the "For the Poor" and Social Security Peak Month in 2025, the City People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City called on agencies, organizations, businesses, and people of all walks of life in the capital to promote the tradition of solidarity and the fine spirit of "Mutual love and support" of the nation, actively participate in supporting the city's "For the Poor" Fund, joining hands to build a civilized - Modern, happy capital, leaving no one behind.
At the program, the mobilization committee of the "For the Poor" Fund of the city allocated funds to support the construction of Great Unity houses, purchase breeding cows, electric motorbikes, industrial stepchips for near-poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances with a total support amount of 9 billion 690 million VND.
To recognize positive contributions, the program honored outstanding collectives and units in poverty reduction and social security. Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 outstanding collectives with outstanding achievements in mobilizing and supporting people affected by storms and floods in 2025.
