Lam Dong - The government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province supported funding for the construction and repair of 8 houses for households damaged by natural disasters.

On May 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province and Dam Rong 2 commune organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of houses for 2 households in hamlet 2 whose houses were collapsed by tornadoes.

Accordingly, each household is supported with 120 million VND, including 80 million VND from the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and 40 million VND from the local budget.

Families contribute additional funds to complete housing, ensuring long-term living conditions.

In addition, 6 households whose houses were unroofed were also supported with repairs at a rate of 25 million VND/household. These are cases heavily affected in the natural disaster that occurred in April 2026.

The program is implemented from many resources to promptly support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives.

Mr. Ndu Ha Bien - Secretary of the Party Committee of Dam Rong 2 commune - said that housing support for affected households not only helps people overcome immediate difficulties but also contributes to ensuring social security and consolidating the great unity bloc in the locality.
