On November 25, at the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030, held an official session.
Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy attended the congress.
On the side of Lam Dong province's leaders, there were Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie K dam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
The Congress, attended by 370 official delegates, represented the great solidarity bloc of all classes of people, ethnic groups and religions in the province.
The Congress took place solemnly with the theme: "Promoting the strength of great national unity; strengthening democracy and social consensus; arousing trust and aspiration for innovation, building Lam Dong province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a dynamic growth pole in the era of national growth".
Previously, on the afternoon of November 24, at the first meeting of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, the first term of the negotiation, it was agreed to appoint Ms. Pham Thi Phuc to continue to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; at the same time, the negotiation elected 11 Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, including Mr. Pham Trieu, Ha Thi Hanh, Nguyen Phu Hoang, Truong Van Tung, H'Vi Eban, Truong Minh Quang, Duong Cong Hiep, Pham Van Duc, Bon Yo Soan, Nguyen Phu Nghi and Do Thi Que Phuong.
At the Congress, Ms. Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, said: In the past time, the Provincial Fatherland Front has carried out two important tasks in parallel such as organizing the apparatus in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner; at the same time, successfully guiding and directing the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune, ward and special zone levels throughout the province.
In the period of 2024 - 2025, the whole province has mobilized people to participate in contributing money, working days, donating land, and building public welfare works.
Of which, more than 7,000 houses were built and repaired for the poor, completing the target of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, and more than 109 billion VND to take care of Tet for poor households...
In the recent storm and flood alone, the Lam Dong Provincial Fatherland Front received, advised, and promptly allocated VND34 billion to support the provinces and VND30.2 billion to 25 communes and wards in the province that suffered damage due to floods.
Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy acknowledged, commended and congratulated the results achieved by the Lam Dong Provincial Fatherland Front, creating a premise to enter the 2025 - 2030 term with determination and new spirit; at the same time, he requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints, orientations and requirements for the Front work in the new situation, closely following the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Entering the new term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province has identified 12 targets and 7 specific action programs, with the goal of continuing to promote its core role in the great national unity bloc; enhancing mobilization, gathering, promoting the strength of the people, arousing the tradition of patriotism, trust and aspiration for development.
Thereby, contributing to building Lam Dong into a dynamic growth pole of the region in the new development stage.
