On the morning of December 30th, Hue City People's Committee held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over houses under the "Quang Trung Campaign" to the household of Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Dong Xuan village, Loc An commune.
In order to overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, Hue City People's Committee urgently implemented the "Quang Trung Campaign" with the spirit of "Speed - Audacity - Efficiency", racing against time to build new and repair damaged houses for people. The campaign has profound humanistic meaning, contributing to bringing a warm home for people in the rainy and storm season, helping families to have a timely Tet reunion in new, spacious and solid houses.
After 25 days of implementation, the city has completed repairs of 40/40 houses, completed 2 new houses in Loc An commune; the remaining 3 houses in Khe Tre commune reached over 85% of the volume and are being focused on construction by forces, striving to complete them before January 16, 2026, ensuring progress according to the direction of the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh congratulated the families who were handed over houses in this phase, wishing people peace of mind to settle down, stabilize their lives, and welcome a new spring of joy and warmth.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee praised, acknowledged and thanked the efforts of forces, units, officials, and soldiers directly involved in deploying the campaign, contributing to the early completion and handover of solid houses, ensuring quality and technology for people.
At the same time, the leaders of the City People's Committee expressed deep gratitude to businesses and philanthropists who joined hands to support resources to help families affected by natural disasters and storms rebuild houses. The timely and meaningful help of organizations and individuals has contributed to nurturing trust and igniting hope for people in difficult times.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also wished households to continue to promote the spirit of self-reliance and self-strengthening, take care of labor and production, nurture the aspiration to rise up, and soon stabilize and improve the quality of life.
