2025 natural disasters cause particularly serious damage
The conference was held on December 26 in Khanh Hoa with the participation of units under the Ministry of Public Security, the Board of Directors of the Police of 9 provinces and cities in the Central region, and central and local press agencies.

As of December 25, 2025, dozens of houses have been completed, many localities have reached a volume of 70–80%. In Khanh Hoa alone, 11/24 houses have been completed and handed over to people.

The Police sector strives to hand over 10–15 days earlier than planned, helping people stabilize their lives before the 2026 Lunar New Year.
In 9 central provinces and cities, the police force mobilized more than 11,000 turns of officers and soldiers and hundreds of thousands of turns of people to participate in supporting the repair of houses, schools, hospitals, environmental sanitation, and overcoming the consequences of floods.
The Ministry of Public Security highly appreciates the information and propaganda work of the CAND media units and the coordination of the central and local press in promptly and vividly reflecting the image of the Police force "for the country, forgetting oneself, serving the people".
However, the conference also pointed out some limitations such as: information coordination is not really thorough, information from the grassroots level is sometimes not timely during natural disaster peak times, the force doing communication work is still thin, and equipment is limited.
According to Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chief of the Ministry of Public Security Office, in the coming time, the focus of propaganda will be on the Party and State's viewpoints and policies on civil defense, ensuring social security; results of "Quang Trung Campaign"...
Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen also emphasized the requirement to continue to comprehensively innovate information provision, strengthen coordination with the press, proactively occupy cyberspace, create official and positive information flows on ensuring security and order, civil defense and supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
