Thanks to that, leadership and direction were implemented closely following the resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat associated with the requirement to maintain political and ideological orientation in the new context.
The Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations have directed Party committees at all levels, managing agencies, and press agencies to thoroughly grasp the Party's policies on press work; requiring them to be concretized into programs and work plans right from the beginning of the year, ensuring the correct implementation of the principles, purposes, functions, and assigned tasks. Through this, the leadership role of the Party organization in orienting propaganda content, information, and managing the contingent of cadres, reporters, and editors continues to be affirmed.
Propaganda orientation work has been implemented proactively and promptly, especially for major and sensitive issues, important political events of the Party, the country, the nation and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations. The Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations have strengthened coordination with the advisory agencies of the Party and State in unifying information orientation and propaganda to ensure that press agencies operate in accordance with the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, and the State's policies and laws; contributing to consolidating trust and creating social consensus.
Along with that, inspection and supervision of press activities are emphasized. Managing agencies are required to regularly monitor and review the compliance with the principles, purposes, and provisions of law; promptly rectify deviations from standards in information content, and prevent serious and prolonged errors. The role and responsibility of the heads of Party committees and managing agencies are emphasized, directly linked to the quality of content and operational efficiency of press agencies.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Chung said that, in general, the leadership and direction of the press in 2025 is implemented synchronously, with focus and key points; maintaining discipline and order, ensuring political and ideological orientation, creating an important foundation for the effective organization of professional tasks throughout the system.

In the work of arranging the organizational structure of press agencies directly under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, continuing to implement the national press development and management plan to 2025, the managing agencies have focused on deploying the work of arranging the organizational structure of press agencies under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in a streamlined, effective direction, suitable to the functions and political tasks of each organization.
Based on the overall review of the system of press and magazine agencies under management, organizations have developed and implemented plans for arrangement, consolidation, and termination of operations for agencies that are no longer suitable; at the same time, transferring functions and tasks to key press agencies. The arrangement process is carried out on a roadmap, ensuring inheritance, organizational stability, and not interrupting information and propaganda activities.
The results show that the number of press agencies has decreased from 18 to 8 press agencies; at the same time, 105 department-level units have been streamlined. Reducing organizational focal points is associated with reviewing and rearranging the internal structure, overcoming the situation of function overlap and resource dispersion; gradually forming a model of centralized, unified, and more professional press agencies.
