On November 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Khanh Hoa province said that Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - had just signed a Decision to establish a Reception and Coordination Committee for relief goods to overcome damage caused by natural disasters in the province.
The Committee consists of 15 members, headed by Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Deputy Head of the Committee.
The Committee is responsible for receiving information, guiding and coordinating relief goods in a timely manner to people affected by natural disasters and floods; using contributed sources for the right purposes, publicly, transparently, to the right subjects and in compliance with the provisions of law.
In that spirit, the Relief Receiving and Coordinating Committee will receive support from organizations and individuals in two forms: bank transfer and cash.
All collection, expenditure and distribution activities will be made public by the Board to ensure transparency and avoid loss.
According to the decision, the Board will dissolve itself after completing its tasks.
