Inauguration of a street light line worth more than 156 million VND in Tra Con commune

Vinh Long - Inauguration of street lights with national flag roads worth more than 156 million VND, contributing to ensuring security and improving the quality of new rural areas.

On August 7, the Vinh Long Provincial Veterans Association coordinated with the Party Committee and government of Tra Con commune to organize the inauguration ceremony of the street lighting line associated with the National Flag Road in Ngai Lo B hamlet, to celebrate major holidays of the country.

The project installed 71 solar light poles along the roads of Group 8, Group 9 and Group 10, Da Dach Canal, with a total cost of more than 156 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Veterans Association supported 80 million VND, and the rest was contributed by the people.

After more than 10 days of construction, the project was completed and put into use. This is the result of coordination between the Provincial Veterans Association, Party committees, local authorities and people in mobilizing resources to build rural infrastructure, promoting the spirit of consensus for the community.

Colonel Tong Thanh Phong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Veterans Association - said that the project demonstrates the consensus between levels, sectors and people in building new rural areas.

According to Colonel Tong Thanh Phong, the project contributes to ensuring security and order, traffic safety at night, creating a bright, green, clean, and beautiful appearance, while arousing patriotism and consolidating the great national unity bloc.
