On July 27, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ngai Tu commune coordinated with relevant units to organize the inauguration of the clean water pipeline project on the Luu Van Liet canal, passing through Binh Qui, Binh Phu, An Hoa and An Phu hamlets.
The project is implemented to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Vinh Long province's establishment and to respond to the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. The pipeline is 2,320m long, with a total investment of 150 million VND.
The funding was mobilized from many units and communities, including people contributing 72 million VND, Cuu Long University supporting 20 million VND, Suoi Mo Coffee Charity Association mobilizing 37 million VND and Vien Dong Insurance Joint Stock Company Vinh Long region supporting 5 million VND.
In addition to funding, Youth Union members of Cuu Long University, local Youth Union members and people have contributed many working days, joining hands to install the pipeline system, contributing to completing the project on schedule.
The project was inaugurated on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), showing the spirit of solidarity and responsibility for the community. The pipeline system contributes to expanding the clean water network, meeting living needs, improving sanitation conditions, protecting the environment and supporting new rural construction.
On this occasion, the Suoi Mo Coffee Charity Association presented 30 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to students in difficult circumstances who are good at studying in Ngai Tu commune, contributing to encouraging them to continue striving in their studies.
