With the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door", Vietnam Fatherland Front officials in wards and communes have proactively grasped and promptly reflected the thoughts and aspirations of the people, especially in areas with major changes in administrative organization.
Through contact with voters, conferences, community activities, and activities of the Front Working Committee in residential areas, the Vietnam Fatherland Front not only listens to the concerns but also directly propagates and mobilizes, helping to strengthen trust and create social consensus.
In the Trinh Tuong highlands, immediately after implementing the two-level government model, the Commune Fatherland Front assigned permanent members and ethnic cadres to each village and village to meet the people.

Mr. Le Huy Giang - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trinh Tuong commune shared: "Directing to the people helps us clearly understand the thoughts of the people, while effectively conveying the new policies and guidelines of the Party and the State. From those meetings, a series of civil issues such as damage to rural traffic after storms and floods, difficulties in safe housing or problems in site clearance have been promptly compiled and transferred to the government for handling".
In many localities with large investment projects, the Vietnam Fatherland Front also proactively organizes direct dialogues between leaders, authorities and people.
For example, in Quy Mong commune, where many households are affected by the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project, frank discussions have helped to remove worries and reach consensus.

Ms. Le Thi Lua - President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quy Mong commune said: "We listen to each opinion, immediately answer issues under our authority, and commit to coordinate with the authorities to resolve them appropriately". Thanks to that, the risk of hot spots is limited, security and order are maintained right from the grassroots".
In parallel with grasping the ideological situation and public opinion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels also innovates methods of operation to get closer to the people. Practical movements such as "Weekend with the People", "Listening to the People", "30 days and nights to support people to perform online public services" ... have created a strong influence.

According to Ms. Giang Thi Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, in the face of a strong transformation in the organizational model, the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue to clearly affirm its role as a center of solidarity, a bridge between the Party, government and people.
At the same time, it has become the core in social supervision and criticism, promptly reflecting the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people.
