On August 14, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province organized a meeting to commend the typical and outstanding heads of residential area Fatherland Front committees in the period 2025 - 2026.
According to the report, as of June 1, 2026, Lao Cai province has 2,841 Fatherland Front working committees with 2,839 heads of Fatherland Front working committees.
This is the core force in propaganda and mobilization of the People, contributing to consolidating the great national unity from the grassroots level.
In the context of implementing many major policies on arranging administrative units, streamlining organizational structure, building 2-level local governments and implementing socio-economic development tasks, heads of Fatherland Front committees have been closely involved at the grassroots level.
Many people directly meet, propagate, and explain to people to understand and agree with the guidelines and policies.
The team of heads of the Fatherland Front work committee also actively implemented the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".
Along with that are social security activities, taking care of people's lives; promoting the role of supervision, participating in building the Party and government, grasping the situation and mediating at the grassroots level.
Through this, the head of the Fatherland Front work committee becomes a direct bridge to bring the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State to the people.
At the same time, this team reflects the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the People to the Party committees and authorities, contributing to building the great national unity bloc from the grassroots level.
At the commendation ceremony, typical heads of Fatherland Front committees exchanged and shared experiences, creative and effective ways of working in mobilizing the people and deploying patriotic emulation movements.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Ha Duc Minh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province requested the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and the team of heads of Fatherland Front committees to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation.
At the same time, it is necessary to be deeply involved in the area, close to and listen to the People; improve the quality of activities after arranging villages and residential groups.
Mr. Ha Duc Minh requested each head of the Fatherland Front work committee to continue to train bravery, qualities, skills in mobilizing the masses, dialogue, reconciliation and applying technology.
This team needs to be truly close to the people, understand the people, and be trusted by the People; proactively adapt to the 2-level local government model, promote digital transformation and innovate methods of propaganda and gathering the People.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province awarded Certificates of Merit to 99 heads of Front work committees with outstanding achievements in the period 2025 - 2026.
The program continues to affirm the role of the heads of the Fatherland Front committees - those who directly maintain the momentum of solidarity in residential areas, contributing to bringing policies and guidelines into life.
