In recent days, floods have caused heavy damage to people and property in the Central and Central Highlands provinces, thousands of houses were swept away and damaged, many roads were cut off, and people's lives were faced with countless difficulties.
In particular, in provinces and cities such as Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Hue, Quang Tri... floods have left hundreds of people dead and missing.

At the conference, Ms. Giang Thi Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province called on provincial leaders, departments, branches and delegates to attend the conference to support people in the Central and Central Highlands to overcome the consequences of storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi).
This sharing and support is a great source of encouragement, demonstrating the noble nationwide sentiment, contributing to helping people in disaster-affected areas soon stabilize their lives.


Responding to the appeal of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on supporting the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 13, based on the proposal of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee has directed the support of 2 billion VND for the people of the 7 Central and Central Highlands provinces each.
The funding comes from the provincial relief fund managed by the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province.
