Widespread implementation of movements and campaigns
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of An Giang province, the Front at all levels in the province has seriously grasped and effectively implemented the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, the instructions of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Provincial Party Committee. Party committees at all levels clearly demonstrated their leadership role in the Front, and were also active members of the great national unity bloc.
Emulation movements and major campaigns such as "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" and "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" have been widely implemented, bringing practical results. The work of caring for the poor, implementing social security, and providing disaster relief has been given attention, timely and to the right beneficiaries, contributing to improving people's lives.
The Front at all levels constantly innovates the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner; promotes the role of listening, gathering, reflecting the legitimate opinions and aspirations of the people to the Party committees and authorities, contributing to creating social consensus and strengthening the people's trust.
The Front at all levels proactively organized supervision, social criticism and participated in giving comments on Party and government building, achieving many positive results. This activity is increasingly in-depth and practical, promoting the role of the people in monitoring and participating in State management and social management.
The direction and guidance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the upper level for the lower level is focused on, key, closely following the political tasks of the locality. The activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level and the Front Working Committee in residential areas have been increasingly improved in quality, creating positive changes at the grassroots level.
The Front at all levels strengthens coordination with member organizations, Party committees, authorities and outstanding individuals; strongly focuses on the grassroots, promotes the role of the Front Working Committee and prestigious people in the community, contributing to building an increasingly strong national solidarity bloc.
Promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc
For the 2024 - 2029 term, the Front has promoted propaganda, mobilization, gathering of all classes of people, enhanced social consensus, promoted the strength of the great national unity bloc; improved the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, implemented democracy, actively participated in building the Party, State and the political system. Encourage all classes of people to compete, be creative, and effectively carry out major campaigns and patriotic emulation movements.
Through propaganda work, receiving the consensus and active response of organizations and individuals in supporting funding and working days to implement the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025". The whole province has mobilized all resources to deploy and complete 9,082 houses (7,185 newly built houses, 1,897 repaired houses), with a total value of over 480 billion VND.
The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" achieved outstanding results, thereby reaching over 90% of annual cultural households and over 99% of cultural residential areas.
Mobilizing the need to help the poor and social security activities; disaster relief, epidemic relief, humanitarian - charity activities have been positively responded to by all levels, sectors, businesses and people inside and outside the province. Many localities have innovated methods of mobilization and organization of dialogues with poor households to learn about their circumstances and aspirations, mobilize to change the mindset of waiting and relying on others to resolutely escape poverty. Mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund to receive over 145 billion VND, deploy the construction of 1,530 houses and repair 1,193 solidarity houses; Social security programs with a total value of over 90 billion VND have promptly supported the poor to build and repair houses, supported seeds and capital to develop production, contributing to the good implementation of poverty reduction and social security in the province.
The provincial Front at all levels has mobilized support for people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi in 2024) with an amount of over 56.8 billion VND.
Member organizations have organized many practical emulation movements such as: The "Good worker, Creative worker" movement; the "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably"; the "Youth Volunteers", "Youth Volunteers" movement, "Youth Volunteers to protect the Fatherland", "Youth for Creativity"; the "Building Vietnamese Women in the New Era" movement; the "Emulation to Victory" movement, "Comprehensive Strong Unity"; the "Exemplary Veterans" movement; the "Age - Bright Exemplary" movement... have been widely gathered and widely participated by all classes of people.
