On September 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Chau Ward held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Congress approved the Political Report with the theme "Promoting socialist democracy, enhancing the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, creating social consensus, strengthening the great national unity bloc, contributing to building a smart and modern Hai Chau ward".
The Congress elected 59 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the first ward, term 2025-2030 and elected 6 members to the Standing Committee, including: Chairman and 5 Vice Chairmen; and elected the delegation to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city, term 2025 - 2030, including 4 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
The Congress called on all classes of people, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers, and armed forces in the whole ward to promote the spirit of solidarity, join hands, be unanimous, and contribute their intelligence and efforts to build Hai Chau ward to develop more comprehensively and sustainably, worthy of being the central urban area of Da Nang City.
During the 2024-2029 term, the Ward Fatherland Front has achieved many outstanding results: the great national unity bloc continues to be consolidated; propaganda and mobilization work is increasingly diverse and effective; patriotic emulation movements, helping the poor, building civilized urban areas are widely deployed. The "For the Poor" Fund has mobilized more than 10.1 billion VND, supporting the repair and construction of dozens of new houses, contributing to ensuring social security.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City said that in recent years, the movements and campaigns of Hai Chau Ward have been closely linked to people's lives, supported by the people, contributing to social security and building the community. This is the foundation for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue to promote in the new period.
"Hai Chau ward is a central ward, with a fairly synchronous investment in infrastructure, high population density, and the city's attention; but there are also great difficulties, which is broader and more complicated management work. Many problems of people's lives right in the heart of the central urban area have existed for many terms and have not been resolved, so now we must continue to focus on handling them", Mr. Thanh emphasized.
To successfully implement the 2025 - 2030 term, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city proposed that the ward Fatherland Front focus on 4 key areas.
Focus on building the great national unity bloc: continue to innovate methods, create ways of doing things to widely gather people, contributing to the overall development of the city.
Promote campaigns and patriotic emulation movements. We must inherit previous achievements and at the same time create new models and methods suitable to actual conditions. Any good model, any effective approach, and any support from the people, need to be replicated and applied to daily life, without waiting for the summary.
Actively and proactively participate in Party building and government building. It is necessary to develop a strict coordination regulations between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the People's Council, People's Committee, and socio-political organizations to clearly define responsibilities, promptly absorb, reflect, and resolve people's petitions.
With the new organizational model of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the rearrangement of member organizations requires innovation in methods of operation, effective operation, and promotion of greater combined strength.
