Increased number of records
According to Lao Dong reporters, after the administrative merger, the number of people coming to the Hoa Xuan Ward Public Administration Service Center to complete birth certificate procedures for children increased.
A month after his child was born, Mr. Nguyen Van Bach (36 years old, living in Hoa Xuan ward) took the opportunity to go to the ward to make a birth certificate.
According to Mr. Bach, although the number of people coming to do the procedures is large, the staff here provide very clear instructions on the connection procedures, so it is very convenient.

Talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Dang Ngoc Ha (officer of the People's Council - People's Committee office of Hoa Xuan ward - in charge of civil status) - informed that after the administrative merger, the number of people coming to make birth certificates increased, and officials had to race against time to process documents.
According to Mr. Ha, if previously in the old area there were only 2 civil servants with civil status (1 person received, 1 person processed), on average there were only about 350-400 birth certificate records per year, but since the administrative merger, the number of birth certificate records to date is almost equal to the number of records in the whole year before.
"The 200-page birth certificate book opened from July 18th now has only a few empty pages left" - Mr. Dang Ngoc Ha said.
Towards simplifying administrative procedures
The People's Committee of Da Nang City recently issued Official Letter No. 1007/UBND-HCC, directing departments, branches, sectors and localities to focus on implementing the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures and business conditions.
According to the direction, competent authorities must urgently review and advise on perfecting mechanisms, policies and regulations in local legal documents; At the same time, submit for approval and implement a plan to cut and simplify procedures...
In order to ensure the process of handling administrative procedures goes smoothly and without interruption, units are required to complete the review, adjust internal processes, electronic processes and implement interconnected procedures regardless of administrative boundaries. At the same time, agencies must arrange adequate human resources, facilities and equipment to avoid congestion and delays.
One of the key tasks is to upgrade the city's administrative procedure settlement information system, meeting the requirements of digitalization, data conversion and in line with the 2-level local government model.
The dispatch also emphasized that heads of departments, branches and Chairmen of People's Committees of wards and communes must be directly responsible to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for the progress and implementation results; at the same time, maintain a monthly reporting regime.
Notably, these directives aim to effectively implement Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP of the Government, aiming to build a modern and effective administration that better serves the people and business community.
