Requirements for substantial innovation in Front activities
Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Hoang Cong Thuy highly appreciated the outstanding results that Khanh Hoa has achieved.
He emphasized the viewpoint of "taking the people as the center", requiring the Front system at all levels to continue to innovate thinking and working methods, " acts honestly, tell the truth, do the real results, and the people will benefit".
In the new term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Khanh Hoa province and mass organizations will focus on building and replicating specific models in line with local strengths.
Improve the quality of supervision, social criticism, proactively propose solutions to complex problems such as site clearance, resettlement, marine and island environmental protection, social security, and corruption prevention.
Mr. Thuy also suggested that the important task in the immediate future of the Front system is to prepare well for the bargaining work, introduce candidates for National Assembly and People's Council delegates at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, and ensure the selection of people with sufficient virtue and talent.
Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh also acknowledged the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc, especially in mobilizing resources to support the people. He suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels study and innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical direction, avoiding formality.
Proactively propose the completion of the coordination mechanism "one thing, one focal point, one period, one result", thoroughly overcome the situation of institutionalization in the Front's activities...
12 targets and 2 breakthrough tasks for the new term
The first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Khanh Hoa province unanimously elected 116/119 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I (3 members short) and elected a Standing Committee of 7/9 members.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - continues to be elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province for the 2025-2030 term; at the same time, 6 Vice Chairmen of the Committee were elected.
At the congress, delegates also agreed to approve two breakthrough tasks: improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism and promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in the entire Front system.
At the same time, 12 key targets were set out, including many strongly innovative goals such as: 100% of provincial and commune-level Fatherland Front have websites and promote propaganda on digital platforms;
100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels will develop action programs to implement the Party's resolutions; by the end of the term, 100% of the Front agencies from the province to the grassroots level will deploy "no papers" meeting rooms.
In social security work, strive to mobilize the provincial "For the Poor" Fund to reach over 10 billion VND/year; the Provincial Fatherland Front organizes at least 1 exchange and cooperation activity with foreign organizations and localities during the term.
