Caring for people's lives
In the first months of 2026, fluctuations in gasoline and oil prices have increased production costs, directly affecting people's lives, especially low-income people in remote, isolated, and border areas.
In addition, natural disasters and unfavorable weather affect production, jobs and income. Some issues related to land, compensation, site clearance and social security are still issues of concern and recommendations for the people.
Faced with that situation, social security work and Tet care for the people have been promptly and appropriately implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province.

Specifically, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels has organized the receipt and allocation of over 9 billion VND, awarding 13,430 Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in particularly difficult circumstances and families affected by natural disasters in the province.
The Provincial Relief Fund Mobilization Board has also received over 2 billion VND and allocated over 2.2 billion VND to promptly support people affected by natural disasters, ensuring publicity and transparency.
In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated to organize the inauguration of the Great Solidarity House in Thanh Nua and Pu Nhung communes.
Towards the goal of housing for the poor, the province has also developed a plan to support 160 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households in 2026.
In the first quarter of 2026, thanks to the positive response of all classes of people, the organization of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee closely coordinated and deployed election work to ensure progress and in accordance with regulations.
According to Mr. Mua A Vang - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, in the first quarter of 2026, Front work in the province achieved many positive and comprehensive results.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have proactively closely followed the leadership of Party committees, closely coordinated with the government and relevant agencies to effectively implement tasks, especially propaganda and mobilization of people, contributing to consolidating trust and strengthening social consensus.
Proactively remove difficulties
It is predicted that in the coming time, fluctuations in gasoline and oil prices will still be latent, continuing to affect production, business and people's lives.

Therefore, entering the second quarter of 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province identified the key task as proactively grasping the situation, promptly proposing solutions to stabilize prices and support people.
Fronts at all levels will focus on appraising dossiers requesting support for building Great Solidarity houses and allocating funds according to regulations.
At the same time, patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns will continue to be widely deployed, associated with socio-economic development tasks to improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
Continue to arrange and consolidate the organizational structure in the direction of streamlining, effectiveness, and efficiency. Improve the quality of operation of the Front system; review and arrange affiliated organizations and mass associations.
