Spreading the spirit of humanity
As the center of the great national unity bloc, during the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province focuses on propagating and mobilizing people to enjoy spring, celebrate Tet safely, economically, strictly comply with regulations on traffic safety, fire prevention, no trade, storage, firecrackers and prevention of social evils.
Along with taking care of the poor during Tet, the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is also clearly demonstrated in the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. By September, the whole province had completed 100% of the plan with more than 4,300 newly built houses and more than 1,360 houses repaired, with a total cost of more than 324 billion VND.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has mobilized many social resources to take care of Tet for the poor, policy families and people in difficult circumstances.
The whole province received and distributed 327,488 gifts with a total value of nearly 180 billion VND, of which the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels presented more than 23,000 gifts worth 14 billion VND; agencies, businesses, religions and philanthropists presented nearly 109,000 gifts worth more than 37 billion VND; Vietnam Fatherland Front member organizations mobilized to present more than 195,000 gifts worth more than 128 billion VND.
Faced with the damage caused by storms in the North, Central and Lam Dong, the Provincial Fatherland Front launched a movement to support and call on cadres, civil servants, businesses and people to join hands to support people in flooded areas, receiving nearly 60 billion VND.
During the flood in late October and early November, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels continued to mobilize support for people in the province, giving tens of thousands of gifts and billions of VND in support, of which more than 10.5 billion VND was allocated from the "For the Poor" Fund to help people soon stabilize their lives.
In addition, the Provincial Fatherland Front also focuses on grasping the situation of the people and public opinion, promptly reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the people to the Party Committee and the government, contributing to strengthening trust and social consensus. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels also actively propagated and fought against false information, contributing to maintaining the great national unity bloc.

Promoting the strength of great national unity
In 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province will continue to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation throughout the system. The Provincial Fatherland Front Agency has effectively exploited document processing software on the Information and Organization Organization System of Party agencies, connecting online halls to the commune level.
Media channels such as electronic information pages, Facebook fanpages and Zalo groups of the Provincial Fatherland Front are maintained effectively, promptly spreading information, reflecting activities and replicating advanced models and typical examples among the people.
In ethnic and religious work, the Provincial Fatherland Front organized many conferences to meet and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of ethnic minorities and religious dignitaries; including a meeting with 102 outstanding dignitaries to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2; at the same time, information on the results of merger, consolidation, and establishment of the new Lam Dong province.
Priest Duong Cong Ho, former head of the parish of thelicons, shared: The Vietnam Fatherland Front is an important bridge between the will of the Party and the will of the people, helping to strengthen the great national unity bloc. In the Heart Parish, where there are more than 96% of people following Catholicism, the orientation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is a solid foundation for parishioners to trust and well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws".
He also said that from 2021 to 2024, the People's Council of the Central City Parish and parishioners have contributed more than 25 billion VND to build 17 alleys with a total length of more than 7 km, demonstrating the spirit of "Living well, being beautiful" and "Fulfilling in God and being patriotic".
In particular, the Provincial Fatherland Front coordinated to organize a Catholic delegation of 7 people (6 priests, 1 parishioner) to attend the 6th Congress of Patriotic Delegates "Celebrating good people and good deeds among Catholics" in Hanoi.
In social security work, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Mobilization Committee of the "For the Poor" Fund have launched a campaign for the Fund in 2025, and in the first 9 months of the year, they have mobilized 54.6 billion VND, of which 34 billion VND is for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Along with the transferred funds from 2024, the Provincial Fatherland Front has allocated more than 18 billion VND to give Tet gifts, build new houses, repair 284 houses and provide livelihoods to 50 poor households. The Provincial Relief Fund also supported 269 million VND for 36 cases of natural disasters and natural disasters.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Pham Thi Phuc said that entering the new period, the Provincial Fatherland Front will continue to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, mobilize people to agree to implement the Party's guidelines and laws, and participate in the propaganda work of the Provincial Party Congress, the 14th National Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels and elect National Assembly deputies for the 16th term, People's Councils at all levels for the 2025-2031 term.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels also promoted the mobilization of people in 124 communes, wards and special zones to create consensus in compensation and site clearance for key projects, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development, national defense and security goals in 2025.
