HCMC - On October 4, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC issued a call to agencies, units, businesses and people of HCMC to support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10.

In recent days, people in the Northern and North Central regions have suffered heavy damage caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi). Hundreds of thousands of families have lost their homes, assets, many traffic works, schools that have collapsed, damaged, flooded... and are in great need of resources and the cooperation of many forces to overcome them.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), promoting the precious tradition of solidarity of our nation, with the spirit of mutual love, the VFF Committee of Ho Chi Minh City calls on people, agencies, organizations and businesses in the area to share and help in spirit and material things, contributing to supporting people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10.

At the same time, encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, and those receiving salaries from the state budget (working at the city level) to contribute at least one day's salary each.

The contributions and support of agencies, organizations, businesses and people are valuable resources, helping people in localities overcome difficulties, restore production, stabilize their lives soon, and children go to school soon.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City respectfully acknowledges and thanks the kind-hearted people, noble gestures, encouragement and support for our people to overcome the damage in this difficult period. At the same time, he pledged that these contributions will be used for the right purposes, promptly and effectively, and made public on the mass media of Ho Chi Minh City and the Electronic Information Portal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
