At the first meeting with the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of communes and wards, term 2026-2031, Mr. Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council - requested to improve the quality of questioning, supervision, explanation and handling of voters' recommendations.
The conference was organized in a direct form, connected online to 27 bridge points in communes and wards throughout the province.
According to the assessment report, since the first session, term 2026-2031 to date, the Standing Committees of People's Councils at all levels have performed their functions and tasks well according to regulations. The appraisal, supervision, and resolution of issues arising between the two sessions and the deployment of other activities have been carried out promptly.
Resolutions of People's Councils at all levels issued ensure compliance with the provisions of law, in accordance with the socio-economic conditions of the locality.
The quality of supervision, survey, and appraisal of the Standing Committee of the People's Council and People's Council Boards is implemented flexibly, in accordance with the actual situation. After-supervision and survey recommendations are seriously received and implemented by the People's Committee, specialized agencies and localities.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Rah Lan Chung requested that in the coming time, communes and wards continue to improve the quality and efficiency of the activities of the two-level People's Councils; further improve the quality of the meeting and the appraisal of dossiers before submitting them to the meeting.
In addition, People's Councils at all levels need to create clearer changes in supervision, questioning and explanation activities; promote the role of the Delegation and each People's Council delegate; improve the quality of voter contact, citizen reception and monitoring the handling of voters' recommendations.
