Dr. Vo Van Son was born in 1987 into a poor family in Binh Trung commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province, now Binh Trung commune, Dong Thap province. His childhood was full of hardship, but Vo Van Son loved studying very much. To go to school, Son had to do many jobs from housework assistant, tutoring to catching snails, picking field vegetables... In 2010, after graduating from the Literature pedagogy major at Tien Giang University, Son was kept by the school as an official.
