On the morning of March 2nd, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province organized a meeting with voters and candidates for the 16th National Assembly at constituency No. 1 to mobilize for elections.
Scientific thinking in the role of voter representative
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Dai Nguyen - Head of the Training Department of Tay Nguyen University - presented the action program to voters.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Dai Nguyen, born in 1979, from Quang Ngai, is currently Head of Training Department, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of Tay Nguyen University.
In the action program, the scientist from Tay Nguyen University committed to seriously fulfilling the responsibility of contacting voters; listening to and analyzing issues with the critical thinking of scientists to truthfully and promptly reflect the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the People to the National Assembly.
If trusted by voters, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Dai Nguyen said that he will actively participate in contributing to building and perfecting policies and laws, especially in the fields of education, science and technology, innovation and development of high-quality human resources.
One key content he mentioned is strengthening links between training institutions and businesses.
Accordingly, training needs to be linked to the needs of the labor market; graduates have appropriate skills and crafts; businesses participate more deeply in the process of developing programs, organizing internships and recruitment.
In addition, he proposed developing human resources according to the advantages of each region.
Tourism - service vocational training for coastal areas; aquaculture and aquaculture preservation techniques for lagoons and bays; clean agricultural techniques, agricultural product processing for plains; development of forestry, medicinal plants and sustainable forest economy for midland and mountainous areas.
Bringing science and technology into production and management
As a scientist, Mr. Nguyen especially emphasized the role of science and technology in improving productivity, quality and product value.
He oriented to promote the "State - Scientists - Businesses - Farmers" linkage model, taking localities as the nucleus of connection.
On that basis, the application of technology in aquaculture, agricultural production according to the value chain, QR code traceability; development of deep processing and post-harvest preservation is expected to increase product value.
Not only in production, science and technology also play a central role in digital transformation in management and provision of public services.
Besides economic development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Dai Nguyen's action program pays attention to social security, health and education.
He proposed improving the quality of medical examination and treatment with health insurance right from the grassroots level; reducing the burden on upper levels, creating conditions for people to access health services more conveniently.
In the field of education, he emphasized solving the situation of school shortages and improving teaching and learning conditions.
Along with the action programs presented at the conference, Dak Lak voters expect candidates to continue to improve and concretize solutions so that when they are trusted, they will properly implement their commitments to the People.

Mr. Duong hopes that if candidates are elected as National Assembly Deputies, they will implement the work programs in the new term in a scientific and effective manner, in accordance with the aspirations of the people.
