On November 28, in Rach Gia ward, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of An Giang province, term 2025 - 2030, held a second working day and closed, thereby reviewing and evaluating the results of the work of the term 2024 - 2029, determining the goals and tasks for the term 2025 - 2030.
This is the 1st Congress of the new term, marking an important turning point in strengthening the organization and enhancing the position of the front in the political system, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development".

Speaking at the congress, Party Central Committee member and Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai emphasized: This congress has very profound political significance, taking place in the context of successfully implementing the revolution in arranging and perfecting the apparatus of the political system in the direction of "streamlining - compact - strong - efficient - effective - efficient" and building a stable and smooth local government at both levels, achieving positive results.
To effectively meet the requirements of the tasks set out in the new situation, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized and suggested a number of additional issues. Continue to thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the Party's guidelines and policies on great national unity; emulation movements and campaigns need to be implemented promptly, synchronously, practically, strongly oriented towards the grassroots, in line with the reality of people's lives, attracting the active response and participation of all classes of people; promote the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, regularly listen to and grasp the people's thoughts and aspirations; promptly reflect to the Party committees and authorities for consideration and resolution right from the grassroots.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels continues to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner, closely following the political tasks of the province every year and term. Focus on effectively implementing the Action Program of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term, creating clear changes right from the grassroots.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations at all levels need to actively propagate and mobilize the People to effectively implement the 7 Strategic Resolutions of the Politburo - these are major and synchronous orientations, demonstrating the long-term vision, innovative thinking and very high political determination of the Party...

The Congress of Bargaining elected the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, term I, 2025 - 2030, with 129 representatives of all classes of people, ethnicities and religions, humanities and intellectuals in the province and overseas Vietnamese.
At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, term I, consulted to elect a Standing Committee of 9 members; consulted to elect Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province to continue holding the position of Chairwoman for the 2025-2030 term and 8 Vice Chairmen; sent a Delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term with 17 official delegates.

Over the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province focused on promoting the strength of national solidarity, firmly consolidating among all classes of people, ethnic groups and religions. The Provincial Fatherland Front has achieved many important achievements in outstanding patriotic emulation movements such as: Completing the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 with 9,082 houses (7,185 newly built houses, 1,897 repaired houses), total mobilized funds of over VND480 billion; implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", recognizing annual cultural households at over 90% and cultural residential areas at 99%; mobilizing the "For the Poor" fund to receive over 145 billion VND, building and repairing 2,723 solidarity houses...
The province has completed the merger of the Vietnam Fatherland Front agencies of the two provinces of An Giang and Kien Giang (old) and piloted the "Digital tran" platform.
