Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan is a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Council on Science and Technology and Digital Transformation, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halcom Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
On the afternoon of May 12, at the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan presented a paper with the theme "Intellectual entrepreneurs constantly learn, practice actively, and proactively contribute opinions to build and criticize policies in the great national unity bloc".
Exchange and spread awareness about the role of the private economy in the new era
Mr. Huan said that in the past time, the team of intellectual entrepreneurs has actively participated in research, exchange and spread awareness about the role of the private economy in the new era. Many research projects, scientific conferences, and communications have contributed to clarifying the role of entrepreneurs as both the core promoting the private economy - the most important driving force of the economy as Resolution 10 of the Politburo has pointed out, and an important factor in the great national unity bloc.
Through forums, press and media channels, major issues such as private economic development, environmental protection, social security, national target programs, ethnic minority policies, the election program of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term have been exchanged, reflected and widely spread by intellectual entrepreneurs. Thereby contributing to raising social awareness, creating consensus and consolidating trust in the Party and State's guidelines and policies.
Regarding activities participating in policy making and social supervision and criticism, the team of entrepreneurs has actively contributed opinions at forums of the National Assembly, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. Many heartfelt opinions have focused on perfecting the socialist-oriented market economy institution, improving the investment and business environment, promoting the role of the private economic sector, and proposing to complete the legal framework in a transparent and stable direction, removing difficulties in the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science and technology development and innovation. Strengthening links between the state, businesses and scientists; promoting the commercialization of scientific research results, contributing to improving labor productivity and national competitiveness.
Especially in the field of environment and sustainable development, many monitoring and field survey activities have been implemented, thereby promptly reflecting difficulties and obstacles in practice, promoting the application of technology, improving environmental standards and ensuring the balance of three pillars: economic development, environmental protection and social development...
Regarding economic development and social responsibility, the business community has promoted emulation movements, thereby making many practical contributions. Many businesses have proactively invested in important fields such as renewable energy, water supply and drainage, waste treatment, contributing to solving essential social issues, while promoting green growth.
In parallel with production and business activities, social responsibility is increasingly valued by businesses as a pillar in development strategies. Community support programs, building houses for the poor, sponsoring education, health care, and supporting disaster recovery have been widely implemented, contributing to improving people's lives and spreading the spirit of humanity in society.
Continue to promote the role of intellectual entrepreneurs in the Vietnam Fatherland Front
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan made a number of recommendations to continue to promote the role of intellectual businessmen in the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the coming time.
In which, firstly, continue to promote propaganda and organize the effective implementation of Party Resolutions related to private economic development, in which it is clearly defined that the team of entrepreneurs is an important force in the great national unity bloc. Building the movement "entrepreneur intellectualization" and encouraging intellectuals to do business so that the team of entrepreneurs is both "Rich" and "Sang". Rich to accumulate and develop, Sang to wholeheartedly contribute, participate more deeply in the activities of the Fatherland Front to reach out to the country.
Second, improve the quality of monitoring and social criticism activities, focusing on key areas such as energy transition, green economy, digital economy, circular economy and emission reduction. It is necessary to encourage the participation of scientists, experts and entrepreneurs in this process so that policies are built closely to reality and highly feasible. At the same time, the Fatherland Front needs to promote its role as a bridge between the state and businesses in promoting the application of sustainable development standards, supporting businesses to improve capacity and integrate ESG into business strategies.
Third, further enhance the supervisory role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its members in socio-economic and environmental activities. Supervise the implementation of the action program and promises to voters of National Assembly deputies and People's Councils introduced by the Fatherland Front at the same level. Promptly commend good entrepreneurs and businesses, proactively contribute opinions in building policies and laws in accordance with the Party's direction and the people's expectations.
In the context that the country is entering a new stage of development with increasingly high requirements, the Vietnam Fatherland Front is increasingly promoting the effective role of gathering the strength of the entire people under the leadership of the Party. The team of entrepreneurs, especially intellectual entrepreneurs, is increasingly aware of their role and responsibility to the common development of the country, constantly training and studying throughout their lives, expanding cooperation and developing integration to enhance their position, building sustainable development strategies to enrich and bring value to the country, the social community and all related parties. Contributing importantly to the development and implementation of the Party's policies, the State's laws and the Fatherland Front, worthy of being lost children and pink grandchildren to join hands in building a prosperous, civilized, and happy country.
