2,025 official delegates attend the Congress
At the press conference to announce the organization of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress on December 24, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy emphasized that the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress is a political and social event of special significance to the country, held periodically. The Congress was held to summarize and comprehensively evaluate patriotic emulation movements and reward work in the period of 2021-2025; at the same time, determine the direction and tasks to continue promoting the patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2026-2030.
This is also an opportunity to honor and commend outstanding collectives and individuals; heroes, emulation fighters, and advanced models - those who represent the intelligence, bravery, dedication, and creativity of the Vietnamese people in the new era - Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy emphasized.
The Congress took place over 2 days, December 26-27, with a total of 2,223 delegates attending the 11th National Emulation Congress, including 198 invited delegates and 2,025 official delegates; established into 105 Delegations. In the 2,025 official delegates, there are individual heroes, representatives of collectives of Heroes, Emulation Fighters nationwide and advanced models who have been awarded and honored since the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee Do Thuy Phuong said that a total of 2,025 official delegates have a tight delegation structure, ensuring a reasonable ratio between workers, farmers, direct production workers, people with outstanding achievements, as well as the components as required by the congress. Of these, delegates from the economic sector account for about 25%.
The Congress is expected to honor and award the title of Hero to a number of typical advanced models in the economic field such as Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company; ThaiBinh Seed Joint Stock Company (Hung Yen province); TH Food Joint Stock Company (Nghe An province) ...
Spreading the results of patriotic emulation movements
Also at the press conference, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Pham Tat Thang emphasized that the new point of this congress is to directly award and posthumously award the titles of Labor Hero and People's Armed Forces Hero to outstanding individuals.
The Congress not only emphasized that this is an important event of the country, summarizing emulation movements and reward work in the past 5 years, honoring typical advanced collectives and individuals, but also needed to spread the content and requirements of emulation and reward work launched in each stage, promoting the spirit of response of all classes of people.
The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department suggested that the information and propaganda work focus on 5 main contents: Significance and importance of the congress; congress events and organization and participation in the congress; spreading the results of patriotic emulation movements; collectives of good laborers in all fields, examples of Heroes of Labor, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, National Emulation Fighters as well as typical examples, individuals, exemplary examples...
