Phu Quoc brings "0-dong Fair" to Hon Roi people

    An Giang - This is a practical activity showing the concern and companionship of the Fatherland Front and Phu Quoc special zone organizations towards Hon Roi people.

    On August 5, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone (An Giang) coordinated with socio-political organizations of the special zone to organize the meaningful "0-dong Fair" program in Hon Roi An Thoi neighborhood.

    With the theme "Towards beloved Hon Roi", 100 practical gifts were presented to local people. Each gift is worth about 400,000 VND, including daily necessities such as: instant noodles, rice, fish sauce, sugar and vegetables and fruits of all kinds.

    Hon Roi is a small island in the An Thoi area, currently with more than 200 households with nearly 500 people. Due to geographical isolation, the daily life and economic development of the people here are still lacking and difficult.

    The program not only brings necessities for people to use in daily life but is also full of love and warm sharing from the government and community for people in remote island areas.

    This is a practical activity showing the spirit of "mutual affection", affirming the deep concern and always accompanying and supporting of the Fatherland Front and Phu Quoc special zone organizations for the people of Hon Roi.
