In which, the province is expected to allocate nearly 24.3 billion VND to implement Resolution No. 418/NQ-CP dated December 28, 2025 of the Government on giving gifts from the Party and State on the occasion of welcoming the 14th National Party Congress and the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year to people with meritorious services to the revolution, social protection beneficiaries, social retirees and other vulnerable groups, with a support level of 400,000 VND/person.
For the remaining 113.3 billion VND, the province allocated nearly 195,600 gifts to implement social security policies and care for the material and spiritual life of the people during Tet.
The province also spent over 3 billion VND to visit, give gifts, and encourage forces on Tet duty.
The gift-giving work is expected to be completed before February 10th (ie, December 23rd of the lunar calendar).
The program is an activity to concretize Resolution No. 83/2025/NQ-HDND dated November 14, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council, stipulating the giving of gifts to social policy beneficiaries and some other beneficiaries on the occasion of the annual Lunar New Year in the province in the period 2026-2030.
According to the Resolution, there are 18 groups of beneficiaries, such as: Labor Heroes in the renovation period; households with soldiers on duty in particularly difficult areas, Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 oil rig; party members with 60 years of Party membership or more; people receiving monthly social pension allowances; people from 70 years of age or more; people enjoying working capacity loss benefits...
