On the afternoon of June 7, at the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2026 - 2031, Comrade Bui Thi Thom - Vice Chairman of the 8th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union presented the draft Election Regulations of the Congress.
Accordingly, elections are conducted by secret ballot. Election positions include the Central Executive Committee of the Association, the Standing Committee, the Chairman, the Vice Chairmen, the Inspection Committee and the Chairman of the Inspection Committee.
Next, Comrade Luong Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the 8th Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, directed the election of the 9th Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union.
The total number of members of the Executive Committee of the IX term according to the project: 85 comrades. The Congress decided to elect 81 comrades and temporarily make a vacancy of 4 comrades for later additions in the term.
The personnel structure is specifically allocated as follows: Central Association Agency: 17 comrades. Leaders of the Farmers' Associations of provinces and cities: 34 comrades.
Ministries, sectors, Fatherland Front and central mass organizations: 9 comrades. Scientists: 05 comrades. Businesses and associations: 7 comrades.
Chairman of the Commune-level Farmers' Association: 5 comrades. Cooperative Block: 4 comrades. Typical members: 4 comrades.
Of which, about 20% are female delegates, 10% are ethnic minority delegates.
