On the morning of July 24, Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations organized a conference to summarize the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the first 6 months of 2026.
Presiding over the Conference were Comrade Ngo Van Cuong - Deputy Secretary, Head of Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Minh Chung - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy Head of Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committee.
Within the framework of the Conference, Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committee assessed the results of implementing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile viewpoints in the first 6 months of the year and oriented key tasks in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary, Head of Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committee Ngo Van Cuong acknowledged the efforts and attempts to overcome difficulties of subordinate units in implementing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation; and at the same time requested Party committees at all levels, Steering Committee 35 of Party Committees directly under the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and central mass organizations to continue to thoroughly grasp, lead, and direct cadres and party members to implement the "4 steadfastnesses" in politics and ideology.
The "4 steadfastnesses" include: Steadfastness, creative application and development of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology; steadfastness in the goal of national independence and socialism; steadfastness in the Party's renovation guidelines; steadfastness in the Party's organizational and operational principles to build and firmly protect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; continue to innovate methods of task implementation, improve efficiency, contribute, and promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations in task 35 in the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.
Through exchange, discussion and reception of opinions expressed at the Conference, Comrade Ngo Van Cuong requested Party committees and Party organizations to continue to promote the leadership and direction role in deploying task 35; continue to closely coordinate and promote the strengths of each agency, unit, socio-political organization, mass organization assigned by the Party and State, thereby gathering many strata of people, building a solid "people's heart formation", with "resistance", with the ability to fight and refute wrong and hostile views of reactionary elements, political opportunists, and hostile forces.
At the Conference, the Steering Committee 35 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and central mass organizations announced the Decision to establish a Steering Committee to protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight against wrong and hostile viewpoints in the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, leaders of the Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committee organized to express gratitude, acknowledge and thank the contributions of members who no longer participate in the Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
