On June 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Vung Tau ward (HCMC) announced that it had just issued a plan to coordinate the organization of the "Culinary Festival - Vietnamese Family Delicacies" on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day June 28.
Expected to take place in the evening of June 27 at the headquarters of the VFF Committee of Vung Tau ward (No. 4 Hoang Hoa Tham), culinary activities will attract about 20 booths from agencies, units, socio-political organizations, religious establishments... in the area. These booths will display local dishes; folk cuisine from 3 regions serving people and tourists.
The program also organized to provide support to difficult circumstances in the area such as: orphaned children, families of single parents facing difficulties...
According to the VFFC of Vung Tau Ward, the culinary program is a practical activity to create a playground, a space for exchange and connection between units and people in the area. At the same time, mobilize socialized resources to contribute to taking care of social security, supporting orphans, single families, lonely elderly people and those in difficult circumstances.
In addition, the festival contributes to propagating the meaning of Vietnamese Family Day 28.6; spreading the message of building a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family; as well as promoting the role of the VFF Committee of the ward and member organizations in mobilizing, gathering, and uniting people from all walks of life to participate in community activities.
