On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,47 - July 27, 2025), localities in Ho Chi Minh City have organized many practical activities to show gratitude and care for people with revolutionary contributions.
In Binh Thanh ward, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward organized delegations to visit and present gifts to families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers and people with outstanding meritorious services in the area.
At the destinations, the delegation visited the health and expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' families in the cause of defending the Fatherland. At the same time, gifts were presented to express gratitude of the Party Committee, government and local people.
The activity aims to educate the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water, at the same time, demonstrating the responsibility and affection of the entire political system of Binh Thanh ward for people with revolutionary contributions.
To organize practical activities to care for people with revolutionary contributions in Tan Hung ward, the Standing Committee of the Tan Hung Ward Youth Union organizes the Proud Story program, exchanging with war invalids, sick soldiers, and former political prisoners in the area; giving gifts to veterans, former political prisoners, and people in difficult circumstances...
Through activities, local Party committees, authorities and organizations hope to widely disseminate to union members, youth and children about the tradition of drinking water without remembering its source and gratitude. At the same time, maximizing social resources in many diverse and rich forms will bring practical results to better care for people with meritorious services.
