On September 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) to organize a program to award scholarships and teaching and learning equipment to Bac Ai and Anh Dung communes.
The program was attended by Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and representatives of Vietcombank and local authorities.
At the program, Vietcombank donated a learning and learning equipment promotion fund worth 1 billion VND (500 million VND to Bac Ai commune, 500 million VND to Anh Dung commune).
In addition, 40 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) were also awarded to students in difficult circumstances and studious children in the two communes.
Speaking in Bac Ai commune, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh acknowledged and thanked Vietcombank for its companionship and practical support in caring for the cause of education and social security in Khanh Hoa.
The Provincial Party Secretary proposed that local Party committees and authorities soon establish a Commune Education Promotion Fund, develop transparent and effective management regulations, and link them with socialization to long-term care for the education cause.
At the same time, it is necessary to review the demand for equipment and facilities so that the province can balance and support in the spirit of Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.
It is known that yesterday, the working group held a ceremony to present the Education Promotion Fund support to studious students in the mountainous commune of Khanh Son.
