From August 10 to August 16, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Youth Union organized the International Volunteer Program in the Lao People's Democratic Republic in 2026 in Salavane province and Sekong province.
Within the framework of the program, on August 11, the International Volunteer Delegation of Da Nang City Youth Union deployed volunteer activities in Lakhonpheng district, Salavan province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The program is organized to strengthen the friendly and special solidarity relationship between Da Nang city youth and youth in Salavane and Sekong provinces, contributing to fostering the loyal and attached relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
This is also an environment for union members and youth to promote the spirit of pioneering, volunteering, training, contributing, and growing up; raising awareness of responsibility and integration skills. At the same time, promoting the image of dynamic, responsible, community-oriented Da Nang youth and promoting the role of the Youth Union organization in people-to-people diplomacy.

At the program, the delegation presented 200 gifts to people and 50 gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the area. Along with that, the team of doctors and physicians in the delegation organized medical examinations, health consultations and free medicine distribution for more than 700 local people.
In addition to social security activities, community health care and support for students and children, the Da Nang City Youth Union delegation will donate equipment to serve Youth Union activities to youth in the two provinces.
In Sekong province, the delegation presented 01 laptop, 01 team drum set and 01 portable speaker; in Salavane province, presented 01 laptop and 01 portable speaker.
These practical gifts contribute to supporting the Provincial Youth Union in organizing Youth Union activities and youth movements. At the same time, they show concern, companionship and the spirit of solidarity and friendship between Da Nang youth and youth of Salavane and Sekong provinces.
