On the morning of December 16, the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Quang Tri province, term 2025 - 2030, took place officially with the participation of 297 delegates, representing the youth of the whole province.
The Congress is held in a special context when the organizational model, space for activities and the target group of young people have all undergone profound changes, requiring the Youth Union to innovate itself to meet practical requirements.
The image of Quang Tri youth in the new period is clearly defined with the values: courage, creativity, compassion, daring to think, daring to do and aspiration to develop. These results are created from the leadership and direction of the Central Youth Union, the Provincial Party Committee, the attention of authorities at all levels, the support of businesses, social organizations and especially the persistent contributions of the Youth Union cadres, union members, and children in the whole province.
Speaking at the Congress, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union Tran Thi Thu emphasized that the First Congress has a special significance when opening a new development stage of the Youth Union organization in the new context.
The Provincial Youth Union Secretary affirmed that the achievements of the past term are an important foundation but cannot create a satisfactory mentality. The challenges ahead require the Youth Union to adapt more flexibly, creatively, and be closer to young people, especially in the digital environment.
The Congress will spend time on presentations and discussions, focusing on solutions to improve the quality of the youth movement, promote the volunteer role of young people in socio-economic development, environmental protection, digital transformation and building cultural life at the grassroots level.
Within the framework of the official session, the Congress will also announce personnel decisions for the new Executive Committee, launch the Executive Committee and award the "For the Younger Generation" Medal to individuals with many contributions. The Congress also took the time to thank the members of the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee who did not continue to participate in the new term.
The Congress sends a clear message: Quang Tri youth enter the new term not only with traditional pride, but also with the responsibility to innovate to meet local development requirements in the new context.
