On the morning of March 6, at the hall of Hoa Thang Ward People's Committee and Nam Ninh Hoa commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized a meeting with voters for candidates of the People's Council (HĐND) of the province for the new term to present the action program and election campaign.

Constituency No. 3 has 8 candidates, among which there are 5 female and 3 male candidates.
The female candidates include Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice Chairwoman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Van - Chairwoman of the Member Council of Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest State-Owned Company Limited; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hai - Chairwoman of Ninh Hoa Ward People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Head of Pediatrics Department, Yersin Nha Trang General Hospital; Ms. Pham Thuy Quynh - Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council.
The three male candidates include Mr. Vo Nam Thang - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Ninh Hoa ward; Mr. Dinh Cong Thuan - Deputy Head of the Department of Science and Rural Development, Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province; Mr. Ho Hoang Quang Vu - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Hoa ward, Chairman of the ward Trade Union.
At the conference, candidates presented action programs, focusing on practical issues such as job creation, economic development, ensuring social security and improving the quality of people's lives.
Mr. Vo Nam Thang said he will focus on improving the quality of human resources and creating stable jobs for people. If elected, he will strengthen supervision of the implementation of urban and rural infrastructure development programs, especially the inter-regional connecting transportation system to promote the development of industrial parks.

Emphasizing the lives of workers, Ms. Tran Thi Huong proposed an action program including 5 contents, in which priority is given to policies to improve income, working conditions and social security for workers.
She said she will promote sustainable poverty reduction programs, develop social housing for low-income people, especially workers.
From a local management perspective, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hai committed to promoting the role of "bridge" between the government and the people, listening to and truthfully reflecting voters' recommendations and closely monitoring the settlement of these recommendations.
Meanwhile, Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Van - representative of state-owned enterprises participating in the election said that she will focus on promoting the social responsibility of enterprises, developing the economy associated with protecting the marine environment.

She also proposed policies to develop the value chain of local characteristic products in the direction of deep processing, applying science and technology to improve added value, expand markets and create more jobs for local workers.
Other candidates such as Mr. Dinh Cong Thuan, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thuy, Ms. Pham Thuy Quynh and Mr. Ho Hoang Quang Vu also emphasized priorities such as sustainable agricultural development, improving the quality of healthcare and education, promoting vocational training and creating jobs for people.


At the meeting, voters highly appreciated the action program of the candidates. Voter Vo Thanh Tung proposed that after being elected, delegates pay more attention to investing in transport infrastructure, protecting the environment and creating stable jobs for people.
Some other voters also proposed that provincial People's Council delegates pay attention to policies for non-specialized cadres at the grassroots level; strengthen supervision, and boldly propose development policies and solutions to improve people's lives.
