People are excited when life is increasingly improving
From spacious Great Solidarity houses to roads and traffic bridges built with socialized resources, the face of many rural areas in Vinh Long province is gradually flourishing, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life and creating motivation for economic development for people.
In the newly completed house, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam in Ham Giang commune could not hide his joy when his family's life became more stable after many years living in a degraded house. The house was built to ensure the "3 solid" criteria, with a total cost of more than 150 million VND. In which, VNPT Vinh Long supported 70 million VND, the rest was contributed by the locality and family.
Mr. Nam said that before, every time the rainy season came, the whole family was always worried because the house was dilapidated and unsafe. Now having a solid home, the family is assured to work and produce, take care of their children and grandchildren and gradually rise up in life.
Being supported to build a new house is a great joy for my family. I hope the program will continue to be maintained so that many other difficult households also have the opportunity to stabilize their accommodation, develop the economy and improve their lives," Mr. Nam shared.
Not only bringing meaningful homes, socialized resources also contribute to completing the rural transportation system, creating favorable conditions for people to travel, transport goods and consume agricultural products.

Ms. Le Thi Thu Thao, Tra Cu commune, said that people are very excited when the new road is put into use. This area has many lemon areas, serving consumption needs inside and outside the province.
According to Ms. Thao, in the past, roads were difficult to travel, and transportation of agricultural products faced many obstacles, so traders often forced prices down, at times lower by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg compared to traffic-friendly places.
Since the new road, vehicles can go right into the garden to buy agricultural products. Travel is more convenient, transportation costs are reduced, so everyone is happy and excited," Ms. Thao said.
