It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move west-northwest, at a speed of 10-15km/h and is likely to strengthen.
At 7:00 a.m. on September 21, the center of the storm was at about 18.0 degrees north latitude, 127.2 degrees east longitude, about 530km east of Luzon Island. The strongest wind is level 13, gusting to level 16.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the storm will continue to move west-northwest at a speed of about 15km/h, continuing to strengthen.
At 7:00 a.m. on September 22, the center of the storm was at about 19.6 degrees north latitude, 124.2 degrees east longitude, about 240km northeast of Luzon Island. The strongest wind is level 15, gusting over level 17.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the storm will move west-northwest at a speed of 20-25km/h, continue to strengthen and is likely to enter the East Sea.
At 7:00 a.m. on September 23, the center of the storm was at about 20.6 degrees north latitude, 119.3 degrees east longitude, in the northeastern sea area of the northern East Sea. The strongest wind is level 15 - 16, gusting over level 17.
The danger zone in the East Sea during this time is 17 degrees north latitude and 116.5 degrees east longitude. The natural disaster risk level is level 3 in the eastern sea area of the northern East Sea.
Warning in the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm will move mainly in the west-northwest direction, at a speed of about 20km/h and tend to weaken gradually.
Forecast of the impact of the storm, at sea, from the afternoon of September 22, the eastern sea area of the northern East Sea will have strong winds of level 6-7, then increase to level 8 - 9, gusting to level 11.
From the night of September 22, the wind will increase to level 10 - 13, the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 14 - 16, gusting over level 17.
