    The meteorological agency warns of the risk of flash floods and landslides after heavy rain in some communes and wards of Ha Tinh province and Da Nang city in the next 6 hours.

    News broadcast at 9:30 am on September 11 from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, during 6 hours (from 3 am to 9 am on September 11), many points in Da Nang City area had moderate to heavy rain such as: Hoa Trung Lake 73.8mm, Hoa Son 62.8mm...

    In the past 24 hours (from 9:00 AM on September 10th to 9:00 AM on September 11th), Ha Tinh province experienced moderate to heavy rain, with very heavy rain in some places such as: Duc Bong 230.6mm, Ho Khe Xai 189.8mm...

    The soil moisture model shows that some areas in the above provinces/cities have been near saturation (over 85%) or reached saturation status.

    Forecast for the next 6 hours, the above provinces/cities will continue to have rain with common accumulated rainfall as follows: Ha Tinh has rain from 30-60mm, in some places over 100mm; Da Nang City has rain from 20-50mm, in some places over 70mm.

    In Da Nang City, the risk occurs in communes/wards: Ba Na; Ben Hien, Dai Loc, Dong Duong, Hiep Duc, Hoa Tien, Hoa Vang, Nong Son, Nui Thanh, An Khe Ward, Hai Van Ward, Hoa Khanh Ward, Lien Chieu Ward, Phu Ninh, Phu Thuan, Que Phuoc, Que Son, Son Cam Ha, Tam My, Tay Ho, Thang Phu, Thanh Binh, Thu Bon, Tien Phuoc, Tra Lien, Tra My, Viet An.

    Warning level of natural disaster risk due to flash floods, landslides, subsidence due to rain, floods or currents is level 1.

    Flash floods and landslides can have very negative impacts on the environment, threatening people's lives; causing local traffic congestion, affecting the movement of vehicles; destroying civil and economic works, causing damage to production activities and socio-economic activities.
